Travel agents beware of e-mail scams!

In the past week, several travel agents have fallen victim to the latest e-mail scam, the so-called ‘post office’ scam, that is running rife in inboxes currently.

You receive an email from the Post Office telling you that you have received a parcel with a reference code. Once you click on the link it starts to download the virus. They then proceed to copy all your data and erase it from your PC and they are blackmail customers if you want to get your info back.

Shut the computer down immediately, have it wiped clean and forget about retrieving your data. Even if you do pay them you will not get it back.

Please share with all in your agencies / agents and friends in Travel so that you are not next.
