Final Touches Being Added to the 83rd Lemon Festival

Lemon lovers and artists alike are putting the final touches to what will be the 83rd Lemon Festival in Menton, France.

About 140 tons of fruit are used to create display centred around a theme. The theme for this year is inspired by Cinecittà, the large film studio in Rome that is considered the hub of Italian cinema.

Set to take place on Saturday, 13th Feb 2016, the festival includes a parade with floats made out of the golden fruit as well as exhibits made out of citrus motives.
